Spaciousness as an Inner Posture

ree

There’s a kind of spaciousness that isn’t about your calendar, it’s about your presence.

Compare these two scenarios: You can have an entire afternoon blocked off and still feel tense, distracted, and stuck. Or you can have a 20-minute window and drop into a state of clarity and calm that fuels real connection.

This is the spaciousness that lives inside you, and it starts with how you relate to yourself.

At its core, spaciousness is an inner posture. It’s the stance you take in relation to your business, your audience, your marketing, and your own sense of worth.

Here’s what that posture can look like:

  • Choosing curiosity over control

  • Asking, What do they need? instead of How do I sell this?

  • Staying open to possibility, even when the outcome feels uncertain

I’m not talking about being passive, or even patient. I mean practicing a kind of slight detachment from what is going to happen, or our expectation of it, so that we can be more present in the process. It’s in that space that we can truly connect with someone, have them experience our vibration, and establish a relationship.

So how do you build that inner spaciousness? Start small. Try this:

  • A grounding ritual before you create or connect, even 30 seconds to shift from "doing" to "being", and activating your generosity “how can I bring my gifts to help someone today?”

  • A one-line mantra like: I don’t have to prove anything. I just have to show up fully as who I am because I have a lot to offer.

  • A regular journaling prompt: I started this business to help………………….. My vision is a world where …………..

As you build the habit of checking in with yourself, you’ll start to notice the cues: you’ll recognize when you’re creating from pressure vs. presence. You’ll feel in your body when you’re in a serving energy vs. performing, and you’ll know deep down whether you’re in alignment or trying to win approval.

The more attuned you become to these signals, the easier it is to return to the posture that draws people in, not through urgency, but through grounded clarity.

And here’s the beautiful part:

That same inner posture is what allows you to detach from financial outcomes, listen more deeply, create more intentionally, and connect with your audience more authentically.

It’s the spaciousness that lets you embody your mission.

So yes, structure and scheduling matter. But if your inner posture is tense, no outer space will feel free enough. When that happens, take a breath and go through the steps above.

Your most magnetic marketing starts there.
