To be (human), or not to be, that is the decision

The online space has never been noisier. With AI making it easier than ever to churn out content, the volume of voices has skyrocketed. For entrepreneurs, this means that standing out is not just a challenge—it’s a survival skill.

But here’s the paradox: the very tool driving this tidal wave of sameness can also be the key to your uniqueness.

The Real Differentiator Isn’t More Content

Your potential clients are overwhelmed with posts, newsletters, and ads. What they crave isn’t more information—it’s connection. They want to feel trust, resonance, and a sense of being understood at a deeper level.

That kind of connection doesn’t come from polished templates or clever hacks. It comes from what makes you most human: your lived experiences, your hard-earned expertise, your perspective, and your story.

Most of us have more depth inside us than we usually bring to the table.

We don’t often take the time—or have the process—to dig into it. And honestly, until now, maybe we didn't need to, at least not as urgently as we do now.

Now our human-ness is what we really need to lean into. And to do that, we need to uncover it, to explore it, to excavate it. And then we need to express it clearly, so that we can touch those who need us.

Here’s the irony: AI can actually help you uncover what makes you most human.

The Deeper Opportunity with AI

When used intentionally, AI isn’t about replacing your voice—it’s about reflecting it back to you. It can help you sift through your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and stories, and reveal the threads that make you unique. AI can serve as that mirror and guide, pulling forward insights and language that make your humanity shine through.

The result isn’t generic. It’s you—clearer, deeper, more connected.

The Reality of AI Use

Despite all the headlines, many entrepreneurs aren’t using AI at all. I was recently in a mastermind with three fellow entrepreneurs, and none of them had touched it.

And even among those who do use it, most stop at the surface. They use it to generate content faster, summarize an idea, or save time with shortcuts. Helpful, yes—but it misses the bigger opportunity.

Humanity as the New Advantage

The entrepreneurs who will thrive in this new landscape aren’t the ones who pump out the most AI-generated content. They’re the ones who lean hardest into their humanity.

Because clients don’t connect with “content”—they connect with people. And when your marketing reveals the depth of who you are, you stand out not just because you’re different, but because you’re real.

A Path Forward

This is the approach I’ve taken in my own work. Even before I started using AI, I designed the Unlock Your Impact companion workbook to help entrepreneurs articulate their unique voice and presence. Now, with AI, we can go even deeper.

I’ve created prompts that guide you to uncover and express what’s most distinct about you—so your audience doesn’t just understand what you do, they feel the connection and want to work with you.

In a world of noise, your humanity is the magnet. And AI, used wisely, can help you uncover it.

I’d love to hear from you:

  • Do you currently use AI in your business? If so, how? If not, what’s held you back?

  • And if you’d like to experience what I’m talking about, comment with the word “Prompt.” I’ll share one of my personal prompts with you privately so you can see how it helps you dig deeper into your own voice and story.
