Author Bio
Sophie Lechner is a speaker, author and business coach. She helps mission-driven entrepreneurs bring the joy of their client work over to their marketing so they can stop chasing clients and can attract them like a magnet instead. She specializes in helping them leverage LinkedIn to build relationships and spread their message.
Sophie has a Bachelor’s of Law from King’s College in London, a Maîtrise de Droit and a DESS (Bachelor's and Master's) from Université de Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne, and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia University in New York.
She began her career in international management spanning several countries and functions in global corporations including British Petroleum, Pfizer and Bayer.
After 25 years in the corporate world, Sophie founded The Global Growth Experience to accelerate mid-size companies' global expansion. She helped them successfully enter new markets by providing strategic advice, a network of experts and a roadmap to navigate cultural differences. She also led Cross-Cultural training and workshops for international teams.
Over the span of her career she has built a large, deep and solid network around the world, both in person and via networking on LinkedIn. This has led to speaking engagements in the US and abroad, podcast invitations, finding clients and JV partners, and an interview in Forbes.
Sophie created her signature method, the MAGNET Model, for passionate entrepreneurs pursuing impact, income and independence. This powerful framework helps them build the authentic relationships that will propel their mission forward, stop the never-ending chase for clients and replace it with a joyful sharing of their gifts with dream clients they attract like a Magnet.

Sophie lives in New Jersey with her husband, 2 sons and 3 cats. When she is not chatting on LinkedIn or helping clients, she loves creating jewelry or curling up with a good historical novel and a cup of tea.
