Meet Irene: Growing Her Impact

I want to introduce you to someone else I've been writing for and about for years: Irene.

Four years into her consulting practice, Irene has already reached the kind of success most entrepreneurs spend a career chasing. She's a recognized authority in her field, invited to speak at events across four continents.

More than one way to grow

Most people in Irene's position focus on the obvious way to grow: bring on more consultants, build a bigger team, take on more clients. Irene is choosing something different. What she's learning goes against everything she was taught about growing a business: that method of scaling, on its own, doesn't guarantee more impact.

So instead, she's keeping her team small, on purpose, and putting real energy into things that can extend her reach beyond her own client roster: speaking on stages, writing, building relationships with people who could carry her ideas further than she can carry them herself. She wants to build her impact differently. It's not fully realized yet, but it's building.

Irene in the novel

I've been writing the story of Irene, alongside Dan's, Viv's, and Lawrence's, in the novel I mentioned these past few weeks.

In the novel, Irene starts to realize that what she's actually building isn't just a practice, it's a movement, with impact that ripples outward, reaching people she'll never personally meet. She begins to fully lean into it, in a way she hadn't done before. She writes something and sends it out into the world, not at all sure how it's going to go. What happens next surprises even her.

Want to meet Irene?

If you want to see how that shift unfolds for Irene, and get to know her better, her hesitations, what she builds, and how she and the rest of the group encourage each other along the way, then sign up for my novel launch team. You'll get an advance copy, plus resources, cut scenes, and a seat in a private workshop where you'll do the same exercise that changed things for Irene too. I'll also be asking you for an honest review around launch day.

That's all four: Dan, Viv, Lawrence, and Irene.
